A favorite activity of all the students was the "Join Hands Against Bullying" activity. To start, we had all the students join hands on the playground in a circle. We then had each teacher and student say how they liked others to treat them. Many students used the words honesty, respect, sharing, being nice, and playing together. After we had students trace their hands, one on blue paper and another on white paper. On the white paper they decorated their hand however they wanted to. On the blue paper they wrote a couple words about bully prevention.
All-in-all I think bringing the awareness and talking about bully prevention is the best way to help prevent bullying in our schools! Our students were very responsive to the activities and learned a lot from participating in them all
