This week has been so much fun! My favorite part was having my sisters come and stay for a couple days. They went to cheer practice with me, helped in all my classes, spoke at my National Honor Society meeting, and even got to learn how to rope :) Today they moved into college...tear. Growing up so fast.
The first full week back with my students went great as well! They are doing such a great job at forming those wonderful habits that teachers love (coming into the classroom quietly and transitioning quietly...it's like music to my ears).
Almost every Friday my students will be able to partake in "Friday Centers". Those centers will include a writing center, technology center, math center, and reading center. Each week they will switch which center they will be in. Today we tried it for the first time and they loved it! I'm excited to be able to keep doing these as they teach the students so much! Below are some pictures from the centers that they did today!
I am off to attend my 4th rodeo (unheard of in this part of the country) tonight. I will also be with the cheerleaders tomorrow as they participate for the first time ever in the Stapleton parade! I am so excited for their first appearance! We took pictures yesterday and I just had to share this group shot of them!
